We are seeking a highly experienced cadmium plating technician to join our CAD line team in a senior working lead capacity. This is a hands-on production role — you will be on the line every day — but your experience, specification knowledge, and process discipline will set the standard for the entire team around you.
This role is critical to our quality recovery and team development efforts. The right candidate will become the technical backbone of our cadmium plating operation, working alongside our Production Control Supervisor to raise the bar on first-time quality, process compliance, and operator training.
If you know cadmium plating cold, take pride in doing it right, and enjoy teaching others what you know — we want to hear from you.

- Execute and document mandatory hold points including pH checks, temperature verification, and pre/post-process inspections
- Perform pre-processing, in-process and final dimensional and visual inspection of plated parts

Quality & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and complete process logs, chemical addition records, and bath chemistry documentation
- Complete first inspection signoffs prior to full lot processing
- Support internal quality audits and customer source inspections as required
- Review customer part prints and purchase order requirements prior to processing; identify and escalate any drawing conflicts or specification questions before work begins

Training & Team Development
- Serve as the primary technical resource and mentor for less experienced operators on the CAD line
- Demonstrate and enforce proper process procedures through hands-on instruction and consistent example
- Support the development and maintenance of visual work instructions and process documentation at each station
