We're looking for a talented Shopify Designer who understands both visual design and eCommerce best practices and can create exceptional user experiences that convert visitors into customers.
What You'll Do
- Design Shopify storefronts, landing pages, and user experiences that align with client goals and brand standards
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Design responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Improve conversion rates through thoughtful UX/UI decisions
- Create and maintain design systems and style guides
- Present design concepts and revisions to internal teams and clients
- Review completed development work to ensure design accuracy and quality
- Stay current on Shopify trends, eCommerce best practices, and conversion-focused design strategies
Requirements
- 2+ years of Shopify design experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing Shopify or eCommerce design work
- Advanced proficiency in Figma
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles
- Experience designing responsive websites
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles
- Ability to take projects from concept through final design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
Nice to Have
- Experience working within Shopify themes such as Dawn, Impulse, or Shopify 2.0 themes
- Understanding of Shopify apps and integrations
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion optimization
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development constraints
- Agency experience
- Experience creating brand guides and design systems

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
