We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and energetic teacher to join our team! This position will work with 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, and our after-school program, so flexibility and a love for multiple age groups is a must.
We are especially interested in candidates who can also drive our center bus/van for school pick-ups and field trips.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Manage classroom routines for preschool and school-age children
- Field Trips
- Ensure compliance with licensing and center standards
- Supervise children during indoor/outdoor activities
- Assist with after-school care and activities
- Safely transport children to/from local schools and field trips (if qualified)
Qualifications:
- Experience teaching 3s, 4s, or school-age children (preferred)
- High energy, positive attitude, and strong classroom management skills
- Ability to work with multiple age groups
- Reliable and punctual
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required for bus role)
- Ability to pass background check
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
Preferred:
- Experience driving a childcare bus or large passenger van
- Knowledge of Texas licensing and/or Texas Rising Star (TRS) standards
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or equivalent experience
