American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a minimum of 18 months of recent experience, Epic proficiency, and an OH or Compact RN license in hand.

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Telemetry monitoring with ECG rhythm recognition required

Epic EMR experience required
-
13-week contract
-
Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand

Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start

Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required

Epic EMR experience required

One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for consideration

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, and acceptable scores on both are required

Must be available to work at least every other holiday

Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any assignments at this health system's locations

After completing an assignment, a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment at any location within this health system
