We are looking for a dependable and motivated Event Operations Delivery Driver to join our team.
Position Overview
As an Event Operations Delivery Driver, you will play an important role in the execution of our events. You will be responsible for loading, transporting, delivering, and unloading food, equipment, and event supplies to venues and client locations throughout the Kansas City area.
This is a hands-on position that requires safe driving, attention to detail, physical activity, and the ability to work independently while staying in communication with our operations and event teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, deliver, and unload food, equipment, and event supplies.
- Complete deliveries and pickups according to the daily event schedule.
- Verify items and quantities to help ensure accurate deliveries.
- Handle catering equipment and supplies safely and carefully.
- Communicate with warehouse, culinary, and event teams regarding deliveries, pickups, or changes.
- Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with clients, venues, and event staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Follow company procedures, traffic laws, and safe-driving practices.
- Assist with additional event operations and warehouse responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to safely load, unload, lift, and move catering equipment and supplies.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Smartphone required for navigation and work-related communication.
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, catering, hospitality, or warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
Schedule
Catering schedules vary based on our events. Candidates must be comfortable with a flexible schedule that may include:
- Morning, daytime, and evening shifts
- Weekdays and weekends
- Shift lengths that vary based on event and delivery needs
Saturday availability is required.
