Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
Follow menus, recipes, and portion guidelines accurately.
Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Work collaboratively with dietary staff to provide a positive dining experience for residents.
Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience preferred, ideally in healthcare, long-term care, or a similar setting.
Knowledge of safe food preparation and kitchen sanitation standards.
Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals in large quantities.
