Pay: $44–$48 per visit
As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to help patients recover strength, mobility, and independence in the comfort of their own homes. Physical Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Carry out physical therapy treatment plans designed by the PT to improve strength, mobility, balance, and coordination
- Guide home health patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques and use of assistive devices
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the supervising PT
- Complete clinical documentation in compliance with home health and Medicare regulations
PTA Qualifications:
- Active PTA license (Physical Therapist Assistant) in the state of Ohio
- Home health, rehab, or outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and observation skills
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle and car insurance
- Ability to work independently and travel to patient homes
- Must pass a background check

Pay: $44.00 - $48.00 per hour
