This is a flexible, part-time management role that combines operations, staffing, customer service, marketing, and event coordination. Much of the work can be completed remotely, with occasional on-site responsibilities at our Madison and Summit locations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, takes initiative, communicates professionally, and enjoys working in a fast-paced small business environment.
Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
- Manage client inquiries and intake forms
- Communicate with customers regarding bookings and event details
- Maintain calendars, schedules, and event logistics
- Track inventory and organize supplies
- Coordinate deliveries and event materials
- Assist with ordering supplies and managing vendor relationships
Staff Management
- Schedule party leaders and assistants
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new staff
- Communicate event updates and staffing needs
- Help maintain team accountability and professionalism
Marketing & Business Development
- Assist with social media content and scheduling
- Create promotional materials and event advertisements
- Support community outreach and local partnerships
- Help brainstorm and launch new workshops and events
Event Support
- Occasionally assist with parties and special events
- Ensure supplies and materials are prepared before events
- Troubleshoot issues and support staff as needed
- Help maintain a positive customer experience
Qualifications
- College student or recent graduate preferred
- Resident of Morris County or nearby communities preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Experience in hospitality, events, childcare, customer service, retail, or management is a plus
