Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curricula, fostering positive relationships with students, and collaborating with parents to support each child's development.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all students.
- Educate children on basic academic concepts through play-based learning activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, including administering first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Strong understanding of behavior management strategies.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with first aid procedures relevant to young children.
- Experience in an educational or classroom setting is preferred.
- A passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
