Job Overview
Ted's Motorcycle World is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Hydrotech / Wash Bay Technician to support our Service Department and overall dealership operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and dealership facilities are presented at the highest level for our customers.
The ideal candidate enjoys working around powersports vehicles, takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Handling & Lot Operations
- Pull motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-sides from the showroom and service areas each morning and evening.
- Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property.
- Assist with vehicle staging for customer deliveries, events, and displays.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of inventory areas.
Vehicle Cleaning & Detailing
- Wash and clean customer and inventory motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-sides.
- Ensure all vehicles meet dealership presentation standards.
- Maintain wash bay equipment and supplies.
- Report any vehicle damage or concerns to management.
Service Department Support
- Assist Service Advisors and Technicians with daily operational needs.
- Transport motorcycles and parts between departments as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe service department.
- Perform miscellaneous duties to support efficient department operations.
Facility & Event Support
- Empty trash receptacles and assist with general facility cleanliness.
- Help set up and tear down dealership events, promotions, and weekend activities.
- Assist with moving tables, tents, displays, motorcycles, and other event equipment.
- Support dealership staff with special projects and seasonal needs.
Skills
- Ability to safely operate motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-sides preferred.
- Motorcycle endorsement is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean appearance.
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:
- Detailing: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Drivers License (Required)
- Motorcycle License (Preferred)
