OBJECTIVE: This position will work with all drivers, checking them in at the end of the day and processing all transactions from the driver and show returns and refused shipments which includes entering information in the operating system and communicating with appropriate department personnel regarding return issues. May work with leads on one or more job groups within the Warehouse. Needs to take initiative in the absence of Supervisors/management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum HS diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand the English language for the purpose of comparing and reading product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills for inventory counting purposes.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with all employees, supervisors, and management.
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
- Basic computer and RF Device knowledge required.
- Applicants should be proficient on all battery powered equipment. IE, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stand-Up Forklifts, and Pallet Jack
- Ability to bend over and lift 50-60 pounds unassisted
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The warehouse is an automated warehouse, team members must be able to utilize the functions of the warehouse management system to perform daily tasks.
- Check in all Lipman drivers verifying all checks and invoices match, and to ensure everything is accurate before submitting to accounting.
- Sort returned event and donations to separate salvageable products and put back into inventory
- Scan all invoices for credits and pick-ups.
- Operate forklift and picker equipment to put up returns, mis-picks, etc.
- Separate damaged products from salvageable items.
- Transfer product to Quality Control for evaluation
- Repackage product and make ready for resale.
- Make appropriate inventory journal or adjustment entries in the operating system as directed
- Perform cycle counts when directed
- Assist order pickers with product identification and location inquiries.
- Unload trucks and willingness to help out other departments as needed
- Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and OSHA regulations.
- Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
- Provides any feedback to Leads and Management that can help the organization.
- Makes recommendations on process flow and efficiencies.
- Willing to rotate shift with co-workers and work overtime
