Position Overview
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, the host plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience by greeting guests, managing the waitlist, and coordinating seating with the service staff.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression
- Manage reservations and waitlists
- Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections
- Maintain organization at the host stand
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the front entrance area
- Communicate effectively with servers and management
Qualifications
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Weekend availability preferred
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
