Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, hair extensions, and texturizing treatments with precision and artistry.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with state and industry regulations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their desired looks, product recommendations, and aftercare instructions.
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items, cosmetics, and styling tools to boost revenue while educating clients on proper product use.
Experience
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse services.
- Knowledge of hair coloring techniques, color theory, and advanced styling methods including the use of straight razors and barbering skills.
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members while providing personalized service.
- Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to perform retail sales confidently while demonstrating product knowledge to clients for upselling opportunities.
