Studio12:SEVEN is looking for a Licensed Cosmetologist/Barber to join our team!
Job Description:
The Hair Stylist is responsible for providing professional hair care services to our customers. They will be responsible for the styling of hair, coloring, conditioning, and conditioning treatments. The Hair Stylist will also be responsible for the maintenance of our salon's equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology/ barbering license
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and nights
- Must have a great attitude and be a team player!
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and follow directions
- Must have great customer service skills and professionalism in order to maintain client satisfaction and loyalty
- Barber-shaving knowledge preferred but not required
- Be a team player! We will train!
Job Duties:
- Assess customer's hair type, texture, and condition by using criteria such as length count, sheen, wave and curl to determine appropriate treatment methods and products
- Use your favorite products to give clients personalized haircuts according to their desired look while maintaining the salon’s cutting-edge technology
- Maintain cleanliness of salon by taking out trash, sweeping the floor, etc.
- Educate customers on how to maintain the best haircut by following our cutting-edge science and applying our latest technology including heat, brush strokes, micro-fiber treatments, and more!
- Conduct consultations on clients' preferences such as color while educating them on how to maintain their best cuts! (We only use the most advanced salon equipment)
- Perform other duties as assigned (You will be expected to perform these duties)
