We are looking for a heavy-hitter to lead the service department at our high-volume Hyundai/Genesis location. This is a premier management role for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and isn't afraid to be the "face" of the service drive. If you’re a career Service Manager who knows how to balance shop productivity with high-end customer service, we want to talk to you. Management experience is a requirement for this role.
The Day-to-Day:
- Master the Workflow: You’re the engine room. Your job is to drive shop productivity by managing the flow between the advisors and the techs, making sure every bay is turning and every hour is accounted for.
- Lead the Service Drive: We need a manager who is hands-on with the advisors. You’ll ensure a consistent presentation of recommendations and hold the team accountable for fully implementing our service technology to its highest potential.
- Command the Customer Experience: In a shop this size, things happen. You need to be the person who can step in, talk to a frustrated client, and turn a bad situation into a loyal customer. You provide the "Gold Standard" of communication.
- Drive Technology: We aren't interested in "the old way" of doing things. We’ve invested in advanced technology for the industry, and you’ll be responsible for ensuring the team uses our tools to increase transparency, speed up approvals, and improve communication.
What We’re Looking For:
- Real Management Experience: You’ve run a department before. You know how to manage personalities, read a financial statement, and keep a large team moving in the same direction.
- Conflict Resolution Skills: You’re comfortable handling customer issues head-on. You don't hide in the office; you get out there and solve the problem.
- High-Volume Grit: You don't get rattled when the drive is slammed. You know how to prioritize and keep the process moving when the pressure is on.
- Tech Savvy: You understand that technology isn't a burden—it’s the key to making a high-volume shop profitable and efficient.
