Monmouth Family Health Center in Long Branch is seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to medical professionals. Your expertise in medical assisting, documentation, and patient service will help deliver high-quality healthcare experiences. This position is full time and evening availability is required plus 2 Saturdays a month.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including recording vital signs and updating medical histories using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process
- Document medical information precisely, including ICD coding and detailed medical records management
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection control standards and basic life support (BLS) protocols
