Registered Nurse (RN) – Evening Weekday Shifts
Location: Canton, GA
Pay: $50–$55 per hour
Job Type: Part-time / PRN
Shift: Evening weekday shifts (8–12 hour shifts available)
Job Summary
A Mother’s Love Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care to a pediatric client in the home setting. While strong clinical skills are essential, this role also requires an RN who values building meaningful relationships with the client and family.
The ideal nurse is patient, dependable, engaging, and understands the importance of trust, consistency, and emotional connection when working with children and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in the home setting
- Build and maintain a positive, trusting relationship with the client and family
- Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Manage G-tube feedings and feeding pump as required
- Provide oxygen monitoring and respiratory support
- Perform suctioning and airway clearance as needed
- Monitor and respond appropriately to seizure activity
- Complete accurate documentation per agency guidelines
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license
- Pediatric, home health, PICU, NICU, or ICU experience preferred
- Experience working with medically fragile children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, if available
