Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Process cash, credit card transactions, and handle POS systems with precision and integrity
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are consistently followed
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine service, and beverage presentation is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations quickly and effectively
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing sales transactions and handling cash confidently
