At K&A Restoration we do a large amount of different projects ranging from kitchen remodels to attic remediation. This is a full time position with an on call schedule for any potential emergency floods or even house fires. We are typically the first, and last people the customer speaks to in a time of crisis. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and values that has a dedication to improving the lives of the customers they work with on a daily basis. We are looking for a highly motivated person with varying levels of experience in the field. We offer on the job training to ensure that we are able to instill the values, morals, and attention to detail that we expect from our team. You will be trained on everything from IIRC standards and standard mitigation techniques to expert mold remediation.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate restoration projects involving water damage, flood, fire, mold remediation, and storm damage repairs
- Perform detailed assessments of affected areas using industry-standard tools and techniques such as Xactimate estimating software and hand tools
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and team members to job sites, adhering to all safety protocols
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection to ensure safety during all restoration activities
- Execute cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, debris removal, and surface sanitation with appropriate power tools and hand tools
- Manage on-call coverage for emergency response situations, providing rapid response for urgent restoration needs
- Supervise and mentor crew members to ensure adherence to safety standards, quality workmanship, and efficient workflow
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, set expectations, and deliver outstanding customer service
- Document job progress using industry-standard documentation methods such as Xactimate estimates and detailed reports
Skills
- Proven experience in the restoration industry with a strong understanding of water damage, flood recovery, fire restoration, mold remediation, and storm damage repair
- Ability to respond promptly to emergency calls with emergency response readiness and on-call availability
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and other restoration-related machinery
- Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and adherence to OSHA standards
- Construction experience is a plus for structural repairs or modifications during restoration projects
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Familiarity with Xactimate estimating software for accurate job costing and insurance claims processing
- Capable of operating company vehicles responsibly while maintaining a clean driving record

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
