Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Technician specializing in HVAC systems to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
- Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and perform electrical diagnostics to identify system faults.
- Read schematics and HVAC design plans to accurately execute installations and repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems and perform equipment repairs using hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with clients to explain system issues, recommend solutions, and provide excellent customer service throughout the service process.
- Maintain detailed service reports, logs, and documentation for all work performed in compliance with safety standards.
Skills
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and mechanical systems repair.
- Proficiency with hand tools, electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters, and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for effective system installation or repair.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- EPA certification or equivalent for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in HVAC/R are preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting techniques essential for efficient repairs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
