Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician with a C-2 License to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing low voltage, access control, electrical systems across a variety of commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including high-voltage and low-voltage wiring in commercial and industrial environments.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes for safety and quality assurance.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to electrical safety procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs with precision.
- Collaborate on construction sites or renovation projects, applying your knowledge of schematics, blueprint reading, and framing carpentry when necessary.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections conducted, and safety procedures followed.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents or hazards on the job site.
Experience
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction or renovation environments.
- Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with access control and CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), local electrical codes, and safety standards is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Experience working with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage systems across various projects including construction sites or renovation projects.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Knowledge of high-voltage wiring techniques combined with practical experience in construction or renovation settings.
- Ability to operate power tools safely while maintaining a focus on precision and quality workmanship.
- Previous handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support.
