Overview
Kolmar USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with electrical experience to support manufacturing and facility operations. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production.
The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and GMP standards. This is a hands‑on position that plays a key role in minimizing downtime and supporting daily operations.
Duties
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing facility
- Support facility operations to minimize downtime
- Diagnose electrical issues in machinery, panels, lighting, and facility systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical components
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP standards, and company procedures
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair needs
- Document work performed and communicate issues or improvements to maintenance leadership
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams on repairs and upgrades
- Follow lockout/tagout and all required safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician or maintenance tech in industrial or commercial settings
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Valid electrical license or certification is preferred but not mandatory
