Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Veterinary Hospital Manager to lead our veterinary practice with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hospital operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient resource management
- Supervise veterinary staff, including veterinarians, technicians, kennel attendants, and support personnel
- Maintain high standards of animal husbandry, pet care, and animal handling across all departments
- Ensure compliance with veterinary critical care protocols, aseptic techniques, and laboratory procedures
- Manage medical records and collections with accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate pet grooming, dog training, animal restraint, and other client services to enhance pet well-being
- Foster a positive team environment through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Implement policies for animal catheterization, animal anatomy knowledge application, and veterinary terminology adherence
- Maintain a safe environment by enforcing animal restraint procedures and infection control protocols
- Engage with clients to provide pet care education and ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Proven veterinary experience with comprehensive knowledge of veterinary terminology and critical care practices
- Strong background in animal husbandry, animal anatomy, and pet grooming techniques
- Experience in laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine
- Skilled in dog handling, animal restraint, and pet care management
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and laboratory safety standards
- Experience with avian care is a plus but not required; a passion for diverse animal species is desirable
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical collection and record keeping
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members about veterinary procedures and pet health needs

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
