Employees of the U.S. Courts serve under excepted appointments and are considered “at-will” employees.
Federal employees are eligible for a comprehensive federal benefits package. - Starting salary adjustments prioritize prior federal service, with some recognition of relevant work experience and prior salary history. Applicants with prior federal court experience may be eligible for a starting salary above the minimum.
