Olympic Peninsula Home Care is hiring one experienced female caregiver for a female client with advanced dementia who has requested a female caregiver for personal care support.
We are looking for a dependable, patient, and compassionate caregiver who has experience supporting clients with dementia and understands the importance of routine, safety, reassurance, and respectful redirection.
Schedule:
Weekends: Saturday and Sunday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Care Needs May Include:
- Dementia care and companionship
- Safety supervision and fall prevention
- Personal care assistance as needed
- Meal preparation and hydration reminders
- Light housekeeping related to the client
- Calm redirection and emotional support
- Following the care plan and communicating concerns with the office
Ideal Applicant:
- Experienced with dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- Patient, calm, and reliable
- Comfortable working independently in the home
- Able to follow a care plan and document care clearly
- Has reliable transportation
This position is best suited for someone who is experienced, compassionate, and understands the unique needs of clients with advanced dementia.
*Learn on the job via paid, hands-on training by shadowing experienced caregivers so you are never left feeling overwhelmed and alone.
Benefits
- Pay $21/hr
- Paid Drive Time between shifts

- Must be willing to provide personal care to clients
- Must be willing to complete a 75 hour online HCA course within 120 days of hire and pass the state exam within 200 days or have a current HCA or NAC credential. Paid by agency
- Reliable transportation, valid Washington driver's license, insurance in your name, and meet our liability standards
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a nationwide criminal background check, fingerprint check, and other pre-employment checks
- Must be professional and passionate about working with our community's seniors.
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Ability to build trustworthy relationships with clients
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Eligible to work in the USA
