Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the metal stud framing team to ensure precise installation according to blueprints and schematics.
- Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and schematics to guide framing activities accurately.
- Supervise the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment necessary for framing, roofing, siding, and other related tasks.
- Ensure all framing work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
- Oversee the handling and installation of rebar, concrete forming, plastering, stucco, and masonry components as needed.
- Manage daily site operations including heavy lifting, dimensional measurements, trim carpentry, and material logistics.
- Collaborate with project managers to schedule work phases, monitor progress, and address any on-site challenges promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in metal building erection, frame carpentry, and construction site management.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and schematics.
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry work, roofing, siding, and restoration projects.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing a crew of construction workers on-site.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interpret construction plans effectively.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
