Job Description
Meadowbrook Acres is hiring a full time and part time Certified Nursing Assistant for night shift. Meadowbrook Acres is a privately owned and operated long-term care facility located near Capital High School in Charleston,, West Virginia. We provide skilled nursing and medical care, rehabilitation services, hospice services, and other health care related services to individuals who require 24-hour care due to a physical or mental condition. The CNA will assist in the activities of daily living of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with personal care: dressing, bathing, nails, hair, feeding, shaving, etc.
- Obtain Vital signs
- Transport residents to activities, dining room, barber shop, etc.
- Distribute meals to residents
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings and in-services
- Perform other duties assigned by charge nurse
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stretch, turn, lift, stoop, and bend during work periods
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CNA licensure in Good Standing
- Able to follow verbal and written directions
- Desire to work in a long-term healthcare setting
