Comfort Foodies is looking for passionate, dependable Line Cooks to join our growing team at our new Missouri City location. We serve made-from-scratch Southern and Caribbean-inspired comfort food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. If you take pride in preparing quality food, keeping a clean station, and working with a great team, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Set up and stock your station before each shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Ensure food is cooked accurately and presented consistently.
- Work efficiently during busy lunch, dinner, and weekend service.
- Communicate with the kitchen team to keep orders flowing smoothly.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and cleaning duties as needed.
- Help create a positive, respectful team environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous line cook experience preferred, but we're willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Weekend and evening availability preferred.
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one after hire).
