We are seeking a competent Maintenance Technician for our Multi-Unit Luxury Residential facilities. You will ensure the smooth running of upkeep or repairs onsite. An excellent Maintenance Technician must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. They should have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, etc. The goal is to ensure that facilities are always in good and safe working conditions and that residents are satisfied with our service. Responsibilities
This position is responsible for performing all aspect of apartment "make-ready"; promptly respond to service requests and work-orders; perform trouble shooting and repairs on HVAC equipment; repair major appliances and perform minor drywall and plumbing repairs. While adhering to OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
· 1-3 years of proven experience as Maintenance Technician or similar role; at least 1-year multi-family, industrial, or institutional Service Request experience
· An eye for detail, a passion for a job well done, and a sense of urgency for repairs
· Strong technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, appliance repair, heating and AC, etc.
· Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification required; Freon Recovery certification Type I and II, or Universal, mandatory
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, after-hours, and on-call rotation
· Candidates must have dependable transportation (e.g. a truck or van capable of carrying tools and parts) to ensure an efficient use of time providing proper building maintenance.
