Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your primary role will be to monitor premises, prevent theft, and ensure the overall security of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security
- Patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or any other security breaches
- Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
- Investigate and report any incidents or suspicious activities
- Respond to alarms and emergencies promptly by following established protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention methods
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions
- Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations professionally
