Project Manager (Contract)

Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative professional to serve as the operational backbone of a strategic community program. This role is responsible for coordinating program activities, supporting event planning and execution, managing communications, and tracking engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works effectively across cross-functional teams, and brings a data-informed approach to program operations. This is a remote, full-time staff augmentation role supporting a dynamic and growing internal community initiative.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate projects and develop detailed plans to accomplish program goals and integrate activities across workstreams
Support the planning, logistics, and execution of community events from inception through delivery
Manage the community calendar and ensure timely communication of upcoming activities to stakeholders
Develop and distribute communications, newsletters, and presentations for community members and leadership
Maintain and organize community resources across SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
Track engagement metrics and prepare reports to communicate insights and support data-driven decisions
Partner with Chapter leaders, volunteer leaders, executive sponsors, and core team members to ensure a consistent community experience
Identify opportunities to improve processes and scale program operations
Confer with management and cross-functional stakeholders to align on program specifications and procedures
Review and recommend contracts and cost estimates as needed
Requirements:
5+ years of proven experience in program and event management, managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders through full delivery cycles
3+ years of experience developing communications, newsletters, and presentations and maintaining content on collaboration platforms
3+ years of experience creating reports, tracking metrics, and using Microsoft 365 tools to support operations and decision-making
Background in one or more of the following areas preferred: community or program management, employee engagement or learning programs, internal communications, event management, technical enablement or field readiness, or PMO and operations roles supporting cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field required
PMI or PMP certification preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content for diverse audiences
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive execution through influence rather than authority
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Forms, and Power Automate
Experience developing reports, tracking metrics, and leveraging data to inform decisions and communicate insights
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination capabilities
Knowledge of business and management principles including strategic planning and resource allocation
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or Visio

Pay Range*: $50.50 - $57.50 per hour
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
Job Status: Non-Exempt
