Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse or production area
- Use hand tools and power tools for set-up, repairs, assembly, and finishing tasks.
- Follow worksheets and work instructions to accurately produce quality food products
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage, transport, and inventory control
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards by using personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection and safety gear at all times
- Assist with receiving and loading trucks as needed to support production goals
- Conduct quality checks through measurements and inspections using instruments and other tools to ensure product specifications are met
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, grain handling or warehouse environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment such as forklifts or trucks
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to manufacturing or food production sites; commitment to following safety protocols at all times
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machining, welding, or fabrication processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail for dimensional measurements and following worksheet specifications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety standards
