Chosen candidate will be an exempt employee, able to work Monday-Friday with occasional weekends as well as on call coverage every 3rd week that is eligible for additional pay.
This position ensures that the attention to detail and customer service philosophy of Translogistix is nurtured and maintained at all times.
The performance and success of a dispatcher will be measured by the flow and efficiency of the office, his/her ability to assist others and increase process proficiency with the overall expectation being that all management and individual goals and objectives are met and exceeded.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, check and monitor each driver and or route assigned to the dispatch board during his/her shift to ensure on time statuses of each load and or route as well as maintaining clear and concise communication with all drivers and fellow employees.
- Responsible for his/her assigned time of scheduling of customer’s orders, ensuring that all are promptly dispatched and or forwarded to the next shift's dispatcher as needed.
- Responsible for ensuring that any and all spreadsheets used during their shift is consistently edited and updated throughout the shift.
- May be responsible for the preparation and training of new drivers for duty, specifically in the training of mobile/tablet applications employed by the company and as may be required by our customers during his/her assigned day and time as may be directed by the Operations Manager.
- Ensure that all required daily, weekly and monthly reports are processed and dispersed and or filed under the requirements set forth by the Operations Manager.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Courier/Transportation industry experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
