Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Customer Service and Cash Management teams within the Revenue Cycle department.
- Oversee patient billing, collections, financial counseling, cash applications, refunds, and payment reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate posting, balancing, and reconciliation of daily cash activities.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate staff while promoting employee engagement and professional development.
- Monitor team performance, quality assurance, and implement process improvements.
- Resolve patient billing concerns and collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, payer, and accreditation regulations.
- Prepare performance reports, manage departmental goals, and support operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in patient accounting, revenue cycle, or third-party reimbursement.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience with treasury management, cash applications, and healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, reimbursement, and patient financial services.
