Global Marble and Granite Importers in Addison, Illinois is seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Driverto join our team.
We are a family-owned business that has proudly served the industry for over 20 years. With two warehouses full of premium materials, including marble, granite, quartzite, and other natural stones, we take pride in providing excellent products and service to our customers.
Position Responsibilities
- Deliver stone materials safely and professionally to fabricators throughout the state.
- Load, secure, and prepare materials each evening for the following day's deliveries.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the office regarding delivery status, schedules, and any issues that arise.
- Collect fabricator’s payments when necessary and accurately handle cash or check transactions, including basic math and recordkeeping.
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is kept clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
When not out on deliveries, assist the warehouse team with unloading shipping containers, organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory and general warehouse support and housekeeping as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior driving or delivery experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials with proper equipment and team assistance
- No CDL required
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Plus, if you speak Spanish and/or Polish.
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
- Closed on Sundays
