We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC/Construction Helper to join our growing team.
This role involves shop work and a variety of tasks helping with maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC equipment in residential and commercial settings.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of HVAC systems, including equipment installation, repair, maintenance, and piping along with providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Diagnostic troubleshooting & repair with all aspects of residential HVAC including gas, oil, heat pumps, air conditioning and refrigeration units.
This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of HVAC equipment in residential and commercial settings.
A clean and valid driver’s license is required, and must pass a drug test and a background check.
Duties
- Help perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Help install new HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Partner with dispatchers, technicians, and installers to provide customers with excellent service and complete projects on time.
- Follow company guidelines and standards and maintain a safe work environment.
- Clean and prepare sites and shop.
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
- Drive safely using a company vehicle.
- Load or unload materials, tools and equipment on the company truck.
- Assist with other off-site jobs as needed, which may include minor repairs and equipment/tool maintenance and duct work.

Experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with construction sight safety.
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
- Good verbal and written communication and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and a proactive attitude.
- Exhibit courteous and helpful behavior towards coworkers and customers.
