American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and active Cerner proficiency for a 13-week night shift assignment.

13-week travel contract in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit

Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and triage cases

Procedures and activities include vaginal and C-section deliveries, pre-op care, admissions, discharges, transfers, external cephalic versions, and cerclage
-
Common equipment includes fetal monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation systems

Cerner EMR experience required

Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts per week (36 hrs/week)

Active, unencumbered RN license (Standard or Compact) required — no pending licenses accepted

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a US hospital required

Cerner EMR experience required

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Candidates with Nursery and/or Postpartum (PP) experience are preferred in addition to L&D experience

Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)

CPI certification is mandated for this position
