The Human Resources, Benefits Department is seeking to hire a Benefits Analyst II. This position will perform professional level work in the administration of the City's employee benefit programs.
Key responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Resolving employee and retiree inquiries.

Conducting research and data analysis.

Coordinating and facilitating benefit information and enrollment sessions.

Providing guidance on benefits options.
Additional administrative responsibilities include:

Public Safety Benefits payroll processes.

General City Benefits payroll processes.
-
Qualified Domestic Partner processes.
-
Benefits Event Maintenance and Corrections/Adjustments in PeopleSoft v9.2.

Serving as Health Savings Account Liaison.

Providing New Employee Orientation Presentations.

Administration of Employee Wellness Programs.
Benefits Analyst IIs also assume administrative responsibility for assigned benefit programs and may assist with Open Enrollment activities, prepare benefits-related written materials, and supervise a small team. Benefit Analyst II positions are eligible for up to 4 days a week of telework but may be required to come in more frequently as needed for events, meetings or staffing purposes.
