QUALIFIED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL
YOUR JOB
As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, you will provide meaningful, community-based support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You’ll work directly with clients in their homes and communities, helping them build skills, strengthen stability, and make meaningful progress toward their goals.
Through therapeutic support, collaboration, and consistent encouragement, you’ll meet clients where they are and help them take the next steps toward greater independence and well-being.
Work Location: Community-based with extensive travel

We have provided quality care and services to children, youth, and families through a myriad of effective community-based services. Today, The Bair Foundation provides services in 9 states, including Kentucky, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

· Strengthen the Circle of Support – Work alongside families, caregivers, treatment teams, and community partners to create coordinated, effective care.
· Help Clients Move Forward – Connect clients with the services, resources, and encouragement they need to build greater stability and independence.
WHAT YOU BRING
· Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with coursework equivalent to a major in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Rehabilitation Counseling, Sociology, Human Growth and Development, Physician Assistant studies, Gerontology, Special Education, Educational Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or Early Childhood Intervention
· OR: Current professional license as an RN, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Physician, Physician Assistant, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or Psychologist
· Skills: Strong communication, assessment, documentation, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
· Requirements: Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel extensively throughout the community
· Professionalism: Ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and work effectively as part of a treatment team
WHAT PUTS YOU AHEAD
· Experience providing mental health or behavioral health services
· Experience working with individuals and families in community-based settings
· Familiarity with Individual Service Plans (ISP) or Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP)
· Experience coordinating services with treatment teams and community providers
· Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication and accountability
