Job Summary:
Join Dr. French MD DC in providing fun, rewarding, and slow-paced primary care at Whitefish Medical.
Dr. French is board-certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine and focuses on general primary care for ages 18 and older, wellness, medical weight loss, nutrition, and disease prevention.
Whitefish Medical operates in a Direct Primary Care model, where patients pay a monthly fee for their primary care. This model completely removes insurance and governmental mandates, thus freeing up extensive time and energy to dedicate to patient care, and greatly reduces administrative duties.
In-office clinic days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Hours vary from 2 to 8 each of those two days.
Dr. French is looking for a health-conscious, positive and efficient employee to perform a combination of administrative and clinical tasks. An outstanding patient experience is critical at Whitefish Medical, thus an emphasis on sincere caring and communication is critical. Dr. French is extremely efficient and timely, thus you must be as well.
Dr. French does not expect you to have a deep fund of medical knowledge. An eager willingness to learn, great attitude, and an ability to anticipate what might be needed are far more important than extensive health care experience.
Duties and Expectations:
- Greet patients and provide patient intake. This includes rooming them, obtaining accurate vital signs, reviewing and documenting their medications, and obtaining a chief complaint.
- Learn Atlas.md electronic medical record.
- Call patients with results.
- Assist with scheduling appointments.
- Assist with medication refills.
- Request medical records and populate the patient chart from the fax inbox.
- Assist with ordering labs and imaging studies.
- Make referrals to medical specialists.
- Assist with dermatological procedures.
- Take notes and be an eager learner.
- Be timely and completely reliable.
- Provide excellent patient service skills, ability to communicate clearly and compassionately, with eye contact, and without interrupting.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
