About This Role
We are seeking talented and compassionate Early Childhood Teachers/Assistant Teachers to join our team at Town & Country Early Learning Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for children from birth to 5 years old. Our Infant/Toddler teachers work closely with an assistant teacher to care for up to 8 children aged 6 weeks to 36 months, while our Preschool teachers oversee up to 20 children aged 3 to 5 years.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities include:

Implementing positive discipline techniques to foster independence, self-regulation, and social skills in children

Supporting children in developing essential self-help skills

Accurate record keeping and data management

Maintaining open and effective communication with families

Ensuring confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries

Maintaining a safe, engaging, and educational learning environment
-
Developing curriculum that aligns with the CTELDS to support children's growth and development
-
Evaluating children's progress in alignment with the CTDOTS

Maintaining required certifications and staying up-to-date with industry regulations

Demonstrating a commitment to punctuality and reliability
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
Li> Have at least 12 ECE credits
Li> Be at least 18 years old
Li> Meet NAEYC Accreditation requirements by holding a BA/BS in ECE, Child Study, Child Development, or a related field
Li> Provide evidence of experience working with young children, preferably three professional references
Li> Possess reliable transportation
Li> Demonstrate the ability to SMILE: Smile, Make others feel special, provide Information, Listen, Engage with children
Benefits
