Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment
- Support cooking activities by following proper techniques and safe lifting practices during heavy lifting tasks such as moving ingredients or equipment
- Serve food efficiently at the counter or buffet stations, providing friendly guest interactions and ensuring timely service
- Buss tables and clear dining areas promptly to maintain cleanliness and enhance guest experience
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions with accuracy
- Collaborate with team members during banquet events or large group functions to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and repetitive movements
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Experience with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Previous banquet experience or hotel culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude with excellent guest service skills and a passion for hospitality excellence
