Key Responsibilities
1. Bar Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the bar and ensure beverage quality, service standards, and operational efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency across locations.
2. Beverage Development & Menu Management
- Develop and refine spirits-based cocktails and other signature beverages, with regular updates to the drink menu.
- Optimize beverage offerings based on brand positioning, seasonal trends, and customer preferences to enhance the guest experience.
3. Cost Control
- Manage inventory of alcoholic beverages, ingredients, and bar supplies while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
- Monitor product usage and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
4. Team Training & Management
- Train, coach, and evaluate bar staff to ensure high standards of performance and service.
- Prepare and maintain bilingual (English/Chinese) beverage menus and training materials.
5. Compliance & Vendor Management
- Ensure compliance with New York State food safety regulations, alcohol service laws, and other applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors on beverage purchasing, product selection, and new product evaluations to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in an upscale restaurant or bar.
- Proven experience in beverage development and quality control.
- Fluent in both English and Chinese, with the ability to independently prepare English menus and training materials.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
