Our client is seeking a Garage Door Installation Team Member. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related hardware.
Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license and be insurable to possibly drive a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Safely install garage doors, including hanging doors on frames, aligning tracks, and securing hardware using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform heavy lifting to move and position large door panels, springs, and other components efficiently.
- Conduct repairs and adjustments on existing garage doors, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance..
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation skills to finish projects with a professional appearance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues, read schematics, and ensure all work meets safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools and tape measure.
- Experience with construction site work, remodeling projects, or similar environments.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
