Piggott Healthcare & Senior Living has a mission of caring for the elderly with respect and dignity. Our goal is to provide comprehensive services for the whole person: physically, mentally, socially and spiritually.
Our shifts are 12 hours from 6a-6p AND 6p-6a. We currently have openings on both days and nights. We offer a $.35 shift differential for nights added to the wages of up to$19/hr, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize EMR and EHR systems to update patient records.
- Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient support.
- Engage with patients and families to provide emotional support and education.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Proficient in basic life support and patient care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
- Experience with EMR and EHR systems
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Background in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings
- Ability to work with patients with developmental disabilities and Alzheimer's care
