Job Summary
Little Peaks Learning is looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our growing team! At LPL, we pride ourselves on creating a safe, welcoming, and home-like environment where children feel supported, curious, and excited to learn.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our lead teachers to support daily classroom routines, help implement engaging activities, and build strong, positive relationships with our children and families. This is a hands-on position where you’ll truly make an impact helping children grow, explore, and feel a sense of belonging every day.
What You’ll Do
- Lead teachers implement fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment for all children
- Encourage social-emotional growth, independence, and confidence in each child
- Lead daily routines including transitions, meals, and outdoor play
- Prepare materials, organize the classroom, and keep spaces clean and inviting
- Provide guidance to Support Teachers for children who need extra support or who may need additional guidance or redirection
- Observe and share insights on children’s development with the teaching team and Admin
- Build strong, professional relationships with families through clear and positive communication
What We’re Looking For
- Qualification to be a Lead Teacher (at least 12 ece credits) required
- Experience working with young children (childcare, preschool, nannying, etc.) preferred
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stay flexible, positive, and patient in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of child development and behavior guidance (or willingness to learn!)
- Experience with diverse learners or special needs is a plus, but not required

Pay: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour
