Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks, answer questions about menu items, and ensure an enjoyable experience
- Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or food service within a hospitality environment, preferably in fine dining or upscale settings
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer, and beverage presentation
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices
- Previous experience with bar management or supervising staff is a plus but not required
