Diba Fresh is a local juice and smoothie bar focused on fresh ingredients and great customer experiences. We’re growing and need an outgoing person to join our front-of-house team.
Job Summary
You’ll be the first face customers see. We need someone with a friendly, outgoing personality who can engage guests, explain our menu, and turn first-time visitors into regulars. You’ll also run the register, so cash handling and POS experience is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment
- Promote and upsell menu items, boosters, and snacks to increase sales
- Accurately operate POS cash register — process credit cards, cash, and mobile payments
- Handle cash drawer, make change, and balance register at close
- Answer phones, take to-go orders, and coordinate with prep staff
- Maintain a clean, organized front counter and dining area
- Sign customers up for loyalty program and handle gift cards
- Resolve customer complaints professionally
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ year experience in retail sales, food service, cashier, or customer service required
- Must have outgoing personality and strong communication skills
- Proven ability to upsell and convert customers
- Cash handling and POS system experience required
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Able to stand for 6–8 hour shifts and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must be reliable and available to work weekends
- Food handler certification a plus but will train
