Sanitation / Housekeeping Position

- AM Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Mid Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Job Duties
- Clean the cafeteria, hallways, stairwells, ramps, parking lot, and other assigned areas.
- Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize work areas.
- Clean and restock restrooms.
- Empty trash and keep work areas clean.
- Buff, strip, wax, and polish floors when needed.
- Deep clean equipment and warehouse areas.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks and painting if needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use cleaning equipment.
Experience
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or sanitation experience is preferred.
- Experience with floor care (buffing, waxing, stripping, etc.) is a plus.
- Industrial cleaning or general maintenance experience is helpful.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- ✅ Must wear steel-toe or composite-toe shoes.
- ✅ Must be able to wear all required PPE, including a hard hat and other safety equipment (provided by the client).
- ✅ Must be open to working in both regular and cold warehouse areas, depending on the assignment. Some areas may reach temperatures as low as 34°F. Employees assigned to these areas should dress warmly, including wearing a heavy jacket.
Assignment Information
- These are temporary positions. Assignment lengths vary based on the client's business needs.
- Assignments may be extended if additional help is needed.
- Once your assignment is completed, we will make every effort to reassign you to another available position, provided you are eligible for reassignment.
- Eligibility for reassignment is based on your attendance, punctuality, job performance, safety, reliability, and the client's feedback during your assignment. Employees with a strong work record are more likely to be considered for future opportunities.
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
