Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Roofing Foreman to lead and oversee roofing projects from start to finish. In this role, you will coordinate daily operations on construction sites, supervise roofing crews, ensure safety compliance, and deliver high-quality results. Duties
- Lead and supervise roofing crews, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards of quality.
- Coordinate daily project activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing systems and construction details.
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy machinery required for roofing installation and repair.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies across all job sites.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues such as framing or masonry concerns, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in estimating project costs by reviewing plans and material requirements when necessary.
- Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, safety reports, and project progress updates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong background in roofing projects.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to construction.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setups, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Knowledge of various construction disciplines including carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry (stucco), plumbing, metal stud framing, concrete forming, restoration work, tile laying, welding, and remodeling is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and material procurement practices.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for proper installation procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining safety standards on-site.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and suppliers.
